During my time on the university newspaper I realised that it might be useful to know how to use a newspaper and magazine page creator such as Adobe Indesign - though I'm told that the industry standard is Quark (and here's me thinking Quark was an ugly alien off Star Trek).
I'm still learning the basics of the program and hope to improve over time.
